Not one year. Not five. We built the Kumo bed and Sora stairs to keep their shape for the long haul, and our pawbies put them through some very serious napping:

- Brownie, our wannabe model and influencer, who mostly tests how good the beds look on camera
- Miso, Toast and Donut, our tireless testing crew
So we're putting it in writing.
Why we can promise this
- Kumo Orthopaedic Pet Bed: a 25D support foam base topped with 40D cooling gel memory foam, plus shredded-foam bolsters.
- Sora Pet Stairs: high-density support foam, cut to a gentle 16° incline.
- The foam in both the Kumo bed and the Sora stairs is CertiPUR-US® certified.
What's covered
- Base foam (Kumo bed and Sora stairs): a permanent dip or sag deeper than 2.5 cm that doesn't recover after the product has been left unused for 24 hours.
- Kumo bolsters: shredded-foam fill that has permanently flattened and no longer holds its shape after fluffing.
What's not covered
The warranty covers the foam, not the cover. Covers are made to be unzipped, washed and swapped, which is why we sell spare Kumo covers. The warranty also doesn't cover:
- Covers, zips and the inner lining (normal wear and tear)
- Damage from chewing, digging or scratching
- Damage from liquids, urine or other accidents, or from washing the foam
- Misuse, or use other than as a pet bed or pet stairs
- Normal softening of memory foam, and small changes in feel that aren't a measurable sag
How to make a claim
- Take the cover off and let the foam sit unused for 24 hours.
- Lay a straight edge (a broom handle or ruler works) across the dip and take a photo with a ruler showing its depth. For bolsters, a photo of the flattened section is enough.
- Send the photos and your order number via our contact page.
If your claim is approved, we'll send you a replacement foam insert (or replacement bolster fill), free of charge.
You'll just pay a delivery fee, which we'll confirm when we approve your claim. Keep your cover, pop the new foam in, and you're good to go.
The fine print, in plain words
- The warranty is for the original purchaser, for the lifetime of the product, with proof of purchase from mitodo.com.sg.
- We may ask you to return the old foam or send extra photos before we approve a replacement.
- If a part is no longer made, we'll replace it with the closest equivalent.
- This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, and doesn't affect them.
