The Kumo bed

Which Kumo size is right for my dog or cat?

Measure your pet from nose to the base of the tail and check their weight:

  • Small: under 8 kg, up to about 50 cm long
  • Medium: 8–18 kg, up to about 70 cm long
  • Large: 18–45 kg, up to about 90 cm long

Sprawlers, bed-sharers and pets between sizes should go one size up. The size guide on the Kumo bed page can also pick a size for you.

Is Kumo good for cats?

Of course. Kumo is a pet bed, and cats love the raised bolsters to curl against and the low front entry. Size S suits most cats.

How do I wash the cover?

Unzip the microsuede cover and machine wash it on a gentle, cold cycle, then tumble dry on low or air dry flat. Spot clean the water-resistant liner with a damp cloth, and please don't machine wash the foam. For the days your pawbie comes home wearing half the park, a spare cover keeps a fresh one on standby.

Why does my bed arrive flat?

The foam is vacuum-compressed for delivery. Unpack it on a flat surface and allow up to 72 hours for it to fully rise. Sora stairs arrive the same way.

Is the size exact?

Foam is soft and flexible, so each piece can be up to 1 cm bigger or smaller than the size listed. Give it the full 72 hours to rise, then measure it on a hard floor.

Sora pet stairs

Who are Sora dog stairs for?

Sora is designed for small, senior and short-legged pets, and for any pet you'd rather not see jumping on and off furniture. Its gentle 16° incline is easier on joints than jumping or steep steps. Cats use it happily too, whenever they decide it was their idea.

Will Sora fit my sofa or bed?

Sora is 70 cm long, 40 cm wide and 38 cm high at the top step. Measure from the floor to the top of your seat cushion or mattress: around 50 cm or less, and your pet walks up the steps and takes one small, easy hop.

Materials and warranty

What is Kumo made of, and is it certified?

Kumo has a 25D high-density support foam base topped with 40D cooling gel memory foam, with bolsters filled with shredded foam. It's made with certified materials: CertiPUR-US® certified foam (the same foam is used in Sora) and an OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified cover fabric. You can see the certificates here.

What does the lifetime foam warranty cover?

We back the foam in our Kumo beds and Sora stairs for life. If it sags, meaning a permanent dip deeper than 2.5 cm, we'll send you a replacement foam insert free of charge and you just pay the delivery fee. Read the full warranty.

Delivery, returns and payment

How much is delivery, and how long does it take?

Delivery in Singapore is S$4 by expedited courier, and free on orders from S$45. Orders are dispatched within 1–3 working days and arrive in 2–4 business days. Pickup at Gambas can be arranged by appointment, and overseas delivery is available on request at an extra charge. Shipping policy

Can I return my order?

Unopened items can be returned within 7 days, with return shipping paid by you. Once a bed's vacuum pack is open we can't take it back, so do check the size first. If anything arrives defective, we'll replace it. Refund policy

Yes, please do, and bring your pet. Our showroom is at 2 Gambas Crescent, Nordcom 2, Singapore 757044, open 10am–7pm daily by appointment. Book your visit online: see the free times, pick one and your visit is confirmed instantly.

How do I get in touch?

Brownie, our 4kg Miniature Poodle and social media star, oversees the inbox. A human does the typing, since paws are terrible at keyboards.
