A firm foam base that holds its shape, a cooling gel layer on top and a washable microsuede cover. Built for the sixteen hours a day they spend lying down, senior dogs included.
A combination of high-density supportive foam and cooling memory gel foam works together to help distribute your pet's weight comfortably and provide cushioning for everyday rest.
All three foams in Mitodo Kumo (the support foam, the cooling gel memory foam and the shredded foam in the bolsters) are CertiPUR-US® certified (the certificate is held by our foam supplier), so you can feel confident in what your dog is resting on.
And because we trust it, the foam is backed by our Lifetime Foam Warranty. If it ever sags, we'll send you a replacement.

A separate protective liner, with its own zipper, sits between the cover and the foam, helping to guard against everyday spills and accidents.

A lowered front entrance makes it easier for smaller dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with shorter legs to step in and settle, without having to climb or jump.

Yes, and it’s easy. The microsuede cover unzips along its hidden zipper and slides off. Underneath, the water-resistant liner is a separate layer with its own zipper, so it comes off too. Pop the cover in the washing machine on a gentle, cold cycle, and wipe the liner clean with a damp cloth.

Not at all. Good support is comfortable at any age, and it matters most for seniors, larger breeds and pets with sensitive joints. The low front entry also makes it easy for small pets and short legs to step in without jumping.
Of course. Kumo is a pet bed, and cats love the raised bolsters to curl against. Size S suits most cats.

The memory foam layer contains cooling gel, chosen with Singapore's warm climate in mind, so your pet gets supportive cushioning without sleeping hot.
The foam is vacuum-compressed for delivery. Unpack it on a flat surface and allow up to 72 hours for it to fully rise.
Foam is soft and flexible, so each piece can be up to 1 cm bigger or smaller than the size listed. Give it the full 72 hours to rise, then measure it on a hard floor.

Unzip the microsuede cover and machine wash it on a gentle, cold cycle, then tumble dry on low or air dry flat. Don't machine wash the foam or the inner lining; spot clean the lining with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Let everything dry fully before putting it back together.

No bed is truly chew-proof. The hidden zipper keeps the zip away from curious teeth, but it's best to keep an eye on enthusiastic chewers.

Got this for my cat and he loves it! The bed is really comfortable and supportive, with soft raised sides that he likes to curl up against. Quality feels great and the low entrance makes it easy for him to get in and out. Definitely a good purchase!
Didn’t know even dogs have orthopaedic beds, but it’s what my baby needs. Foam is odour free and very supportive. Tried many cheaper beds before, most of them not supportive at all. Will see if the foam deforms over time in future
Bought an S size bed and it’s still big, too big for my tiny pompom. But watching her change positions freely through the day and stretch all the way out makes the purchase worthwhile. She’s old and her legs are fragile, so the low-entry design is perfect for her. She used to hop into her other beds, and it made me worry she might injure herself.
I was impressed by the quality when I unpacked it. The bed holds its shape well, even though my dogs like to circle around and rearrange themselves several times before lying down. It’s big enough for both of them to lie down in, but I regret not sizing up, as the M size just fits 2 fat corgis. Mitodo offered a discount for the next purchase, but my room is a bit too tight for an L size bed.
The bed feels firm and supportive without being hard. My dog took a nap on it the first afternoon, and now it’s the first place he goes when we settle down for the evening.

Your pet spends hours every day on their bed, so we chose every layer of the Kumo for two things: how well it supports them, and what it’s made of.
Every layer started with the same question: is it safe for a nose that’s on it all day?
Soft to the touch and chosen for everyday pet use. The fabric is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (the certificate is held by our fabric supplier). It zips off with a hidden zipper, which keeps it away from chewers, and machine washes on a cold, gentle cycle.
Sits between the cover and the foam to guard against everyday spills and accidents. It’s water-resistant, a practical layer of everyday protection.
Cushions pressure points as your dog settles in. The cooling gel is a thoughtful detail for Singapore’s warm climate, so they rest comfortably without sleeping hot. Tested for harmful chemicals (CertiPUR-US®).
The foundation. We chose high-density foam because denser foam holds its shape under weight, so the bed keeps supporting joints instead of flattening. It’s what makes the Kumo suited to senior dogs and dogs up to 45 kg.
